About the host organizations

Curtain Razors is a theatre company interested in pushing theatre forward as an art form to encourage the development of contemporary theatre. The company’s focus is to develop new ways of telling stories. Responding to the needs of the artistic community, and our audience, it is a company in Saskatchewan that has a commitment to the exploration of theatrical form.

New Dance Horizons is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to celebrating new visions in Canadian contemporary dance. New Dance Horizons annual Performing Series feature national, international, regional and local Canadian contemporary dance artists. The organization presents special events including Pelican Nocturne processional performances, and the bi-annual Stream of Dance Festival which features Prairie dance artists including contemporary Aboriginal dance. In alternating years the new Stream of Dance Biennale will focus on international artist and full length works.

Neutral Ground is a Regina-based contemporary art gallery whose program emphasizes presentation and creation of new media, live and visual art. The centre has been active as a catalyst and professional artists' resource centre since 1982. Neutral Ground's long term project in new media, Soil Digital Media Suite, was initiated as production and research program in 1996. Since that time, the artistic direction of the centre has been shaped and informed by a translocal and interdisciplinary perspective involving the intersection of the arts and technology in a diverse cultural context to develop new curatorial strategies for producing artists' works and towards creating new roles for the arts in society.

Sakewewak Artists’ Collective is a Regina-based multi-disciplinary arts organization whose mandate is to ensure that contemporary First Nations artists are consistently provided with the space and environment that allows them to develop their self-determined artistic practices through critical exchanges with their peers and their audiences.
